In 2010 Kristina began her professional career as a horse trainer. Michelle Lannan

Michelle’s equestrian career path was charted at an early age like many young girls fascinated with horses. She attended Equissage earning a certificate in Equine Sports Massage Therapy and began an internship as a large animal vet technician. Clinics and workshops garnered knowledge and wisdom from some of the most gifted and accomplished Equestrians of our times including Michael Page, Ralph Hill and Richard Shrake.  She graciously accepted an opportunity to train her own horses under the tutelage of Jacek Wierchowiecki. Wierchowiecki, a two time olympic competitor, (Munich 1972 and Moscow 1980), coach to the Polish Team Eventing Squad 1980-1987 was awarded the FEI Gold Badge of Honor for his work in equestrian sports. The quality of the horse-human connection is the foundation that everything else will be built upon. “I figured out that communication was paramount to successful training. When the horse is comfortable, and understands what’s being asked of them, they are usually a pretty willing partner.” Michelle remains active in the equine community as an instructor, consultant and Equine Specialist for Ignite.
